IIIT Launches New Website

Citing improved technical features, the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT) has launched a new website after several weeks of downtime. The domain name remains the same making it unlikely that the change represented any attempt to obscure past activities of the organization. IIIT was founded in 1980 by important members of the Global Muslim Brotherhood (GMB) and is associated with the SAAR Foundation, a network of Islamic organizations located in Northern Virginia that was raided by the Federal government in 2003. Both IIIT and SAAR are the subjects of an ongoing investigation. A previous post has reported on the partnership between IIT and the International Center for Religion and Diplomacy (ICRD) who have recently formed a partnership to cooperate on education projects in the Muslim world and work to promote relationships between the U.S. Government and their partner organizations in the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood.
