A previous post made reference to a replacement for Mazen Asbahi, the Obama campaign outreach coordinator for Muslim affiars who resigned following an inquiry from the Wall Street Journal about his ties to the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood. Rashida Tlaib, who was discussed in a local newspaper article, was selected only as a Muslim/Arab outreach coordinator for Michigan and not as Asbahi’s replacement as reported in that post. It should be noted however that another post discussed revelations that Asbahi is still unofficially working for the Obama campaign.
