BREAKING NEWS: Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood Selects Mohammed Badie As New Supreme Guide

AFP is reporting that the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood has selected Mohammed Badie as its new leader (Supreme Guide), confirming earlier speculation. According to the report:

Egypt’s main opposition movement, the Muslim Brotherhood, appointed Mohammed Badie, a conservative figure, as its new leader, his predecessor told a news conference on Saturday.
