The GMBDW reported yesterday that that Rachid Ghannouchi, leader of the Tunisian Muslim Brotherhood, had been appointed as the second-highest ranking figure in the International Organization of the Muslim Brotherhood. According to an Arabic language news report, however, Mr. Ghannouchi has denied the allegation. Based on everything we have seen over the years, the initial report appears to us to be credible but we feel obligated to also report the denial.
