European Ambassadors Attend WAMY Party In Saudi Arabia

A Saudi Arabian newspaper reported that at least two European ambassadors to Saudi Arabia attended an Iftar party held for the diplomatic community by the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY), a Saudi organization linked to the Muslim Brotherhood that U.S government officials believed has helped to spread Islamic extremism around the world as well as sponsoring terrorism in places such as Bosnia, Israel, and India. The report states that at the party, attended by the Secretary-General of WAMY, the Italian Ambassador and the French Ambassador spoke about “the challenges facing the Islamic and the Western world, and said the only way of overcoming them was through dialogue.” The report also indicated that a large number of diplomats and donors attended the WAMY party. It is not known if any U.S. officials were present.
