Islam Online Virtual Reality Project Featuring More Islamic Speakers

The virtual reality project of Islam Online has been featuring Islamic speakers in a series of online “Live Fatwa” Sessions. These sessions have included two members of the IOL Shari`ah Department, Wael `Abdel-Mut`aal Shihab the Deputy of the Managing Editor and Sami Ahmad Muhammad an Islamic researcher. Also speaking recently was Dr. Mohammed El-Banna who spoke in Arabic and whose identity is unknown as this time. Recent posts have discussed the IOL Ramadan Tent inside the virtual reality world known as Second Life, a joint project between IOL, the news portal operated by Muslim Brotherhood leader Youssef Qaradawi, and the Islamic Group, a group of people managing the virtual Chebi Mosque, one of the most well known mosques in Second Life.
