New French Mosque Linked to Brotherhood?

The French daily Le Monde reported on the proposed construction of a “Grand Mosque” in Marseilles with a planned capacity of 5,000 worshippers. A possible link to the Union of Islamic Organizations of France (UOIF) is suggested by the support for the project by Mohsen Ngazou, the regional UOIF director who, according to private documents, is also a former officer of the Federation of Islamic Organizations in Europe (FIOE). Both the UOIF and FIOE are important Muslim Brotherhood organizations in Europe and the UOIF is the French member of FIOE which is an umbrella group for Brotherhood organizations at the EU level.
