CAIR To Hold Catholic-Muslim Dialog

The website of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) is reporting that the organization will hold an event entitled “American Muslim-Catholic Dialogue: A Model for Communal Understanding” on August 21 at its Washington, D.C. headquarters. Featured participants will be the Rev. Francis Tiso from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and Dr. Muzammil Siddiqi, Director of the Islamic Center of Orange County, California and major U.S. Muslim Brotherhood leader As previous posts have discussed, the relationship between the Brotherhood and the Catholic Church have been rocky of late and global Muslim Brotherhood leader has recently issued a harsh attack against the Church regarding remarks by the Papal Secretary warning of the dangers of “Islamization of Europe.”
