U.S. Charity Linked To Muslim Brotherhood Wants Seized Documents Back

ABC News is reporting that an international Muslim humanitarian organization known as Life for Relief and Development (LIFE) is seeking court action to force federal officials to return organization paperwork seized in a counter-terrorism raid on its offices last September. LIFE is an organization headquartered in a suburb of Detroit that is purportedly a charity but also has a long history of political advocacy and lobbying activities related to Iraq. Although many of its key leaders are linked to the global Muslim Brotherhood network, there is insufficient public evidence to connect LIFE with terrorism and to date, there have been no charges resulting from the raid and the charity has continued to operate.
